Roll Call with one guest present, Tracy Skau from Napa.
Minutes were read and approved.
Grayson reported that he went to Sand Mt. and that they have started marking trails on the dunes leaving a narrow path that is barely 2 cars wide in spots. To sum it up it spoils the natural beauty and open feeling that has been enjoyed for years.
Pat Morgan was there with info on the upcoming Danville Dinner Walk on June 3rd , a Tuesday evening.
Harriet and Ralph Robinson have stepped up and taken on the Christmas Party this year. Mark your calendar for Dec 6th at the Walnut Creek Elks Club.
Bob Lininger was digging around in his garage and found a 1981 Club Redbook. It appeared to have been hammered out on an ancient device known as a typewriter. There were members from the past, some from the present, some have passed on, but it still has a lot of history within its cover.
There was considerable discussion on the upcoming Off-Road Rally at Frank Raines Park. Many details were worked out and should be a fun and challenging event.
There will be a hors dÕoeuvre party on Friday night for early arrivers at 6pm.
Charley Seeley sent me a notice that Clear Creek had been closed to study the asbestos levels there. The Hotline for more info is : (831) 630-5060. Thanks Charlie for the info.
I received the info from Carla on the CPR & First Aid Class. It all depends on how many sign up but cost should be around $60 per person resulting in certificate in adult, child & infant CPR and first aid . Contact Carla @ 925-671-0908 if you are interested. Carla5124@comcast.net
The EBHT Dinner sounds like it was a success. It mentioned that we had club members present and their presence was appreciated.
CORVA Report: Bill Salmon
Bill reported that he also went to Sand Mt. and had photos showing how they have marked trails.
He also reported on California City. There are 2 groups that are fighting for control of CORVA which resulted in the elections being postponed until a further date. There are no details as of now but I will post as I get updates from CORVA or Bill.

There were no club runs to report on this month.
Raffle and Treasurers report closed out the meeting along with
treats by Dawn Thurston and Bobbie Robertson.
